I have completed my BA Hons Degree in Drama and English at Cambridge University. I also work full time as a Civil Servant in Waterbeach which has taken me to the Falkland Islands and Bosnia to work.
I joined the Littleport Players in 1994 taking on my first role as the Prince in Sleeping Beauty – it was very scary but I loved it! Since then the group has grown in leaps and bounds and I have taken many leading roles, chorus or dancing in the many shows that the Players have produced. For the last couple of years, I have concentrated fully on directing which I love; especially if they are shows out of the ordinary that not many people have touched! I am a member of the Bunbury Players at Mildenhall where I have taken on some roles and helped them with their choreography for their shows. I have also performed a couple of shows in Cambridge with the University.
The Players has grown into a huge group which is sometimes very hard to maintain, but I find it very rewarding at the end of each production – especially if the reviews are good! I have learnt an awful lot being with the group – skills I didn’t know I had until they are brought to the surface!
