I am a Civil Servant based at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Alconbury and have been involved with the Littleport Players in a small way for many years serving refreshments at the performance and assisting my son – who has been a member for the last 10 years.
I must admit I have no desire to perform on stage but I am content to provide administrative support to enable the other committee members and players to concentrate on their acting, singing, dancing and pushing the boundaries to provide incredible entertainment on a regular basis. I am also responsible for collating all membership details, collecting subscriptions once the production and cast list has been finalized and preparing and distributing minutes of meetings to ensure all actions are addressed. I enjoy attending the performances once the productions are staged and appreciate all the hard work that all members put in to produce the shows on a regular basis.
