The Littleport Players were delighted when they received an award from the Local Network Fund of £6,315.00 to go towards professional workshops. They had exactly one year to spend the money and a couple of people booked workshops ranging from singing to make-up.
They managed to squeeze just about everything in they could over the course of the year! The group had a lot of fun in the workshops and learnt many skills that contribute to any type of stage work (both on and off stage). Many local people of different ages benefited from this grant and the skills learnt are now being used in future productions. The workshops included:

Singing, Choreography, Drama skills, Audition Techniques, Directing, Dealing with
Stage Fright, Les Miserables Workshop, Shakespeare, Stage Combat Fighting, Stage and
Set Design, Physical Theatre and Make Up
